The Reticulocyte Count test is an essential laboratory evaluation that determines the absolute or percentage of immature red blood cells, or reticulocytes, in the blood. This test is very valuable in health heart diagnostics (HHD) for determining the state of the circulatory system. It is mainly used to examine bone marrow function and the body’s capacity to manufacture red blood cells.
